As Head of Design at Italist, I led the design of the platform as a connected system across product, mobile, and marketing surfaces. My focus was creating a coherent end-to-end experience—from core shopping flows to the launch of the native mobile app—while establishing the patterns and design foundations that kept the product consistent as it scaled.
iOS & Android app
I designed the Italist iOS app from the ground up, defining the product architecture, interaction patterns, and visual language needed to translate the marketplace into a fast, intuitive mobile experience. From early flows and prototypes through production-ready specifications, I worked closely with engineering to bring the app to launch while establishing the core mobile patterns that ensured consistency, performance, and a high standard of UX across the platform.
